Add Member

Add a new member to your YaBB forum.

Choose Username

Choose a username for your new user.

Email

Specify the new user's e-mail address.

Hide Email from public

If checked, the user's e-mail address will not be displayed in their member profile screen.

Choose password/Verify password

Choose a password for the new user. When done, click Register to create the user.

View/Delete Members

View a list of users, and view statistics or delete a user.

Member List

Shows the table of members, with position, posts, registration date, days since last online/post/PM. To delete a user, check the checkbox next to their name and click Delete Members.

Send email to deleted members

Send an email to any members you delete in this menu.

Member Groups

Add, edit and delete membergroups.

Static Member Groups

Edit the administrator, global mod and moderator membergroups. These cannot be removed.

Post independent Member Groups

Edit the membergroups that do not change with the number of posts. Add groups such as Sponsor here, as members can only become members of this group by being added by an administrator or global moderator.

Post dependent Member Groups

Add, edit or delete standard membergroups that change with the number of posts a user makes.

Edit Member Group

Name

Specify the name of the group.

# of Stars

The number of stars that appear beside this user's posts.

Star Type

Set the colour of posting stars.

Color

Set the colour that names of members from this group appear in.

Public

If unchecked, members of this group will appear as standard members and not as users of this group.

Options for non-static groups

Post Independent Group

Designate this membergroup to be post independent. If the 'Public' box is not checked, then members of this group will appear as normal members, and not as members of this group.

Post Dependent Group

Designate this membergroup to be post dependent. Specify the number of posts required to be a member of this group in the '# of Posts' field.

Permissions

Disallow Viewing Topics

Members of this group cannot view topics unless they are specifically granted this permission in the board options.

Disallow Posting Topics

Members of this group cannot post topics unless they are granted permission in the board options.

Disallow Replying to Topics

Members of this group cannot reply to topics unless they are granted permission in the board options.

Disallow Posting Polls

Members of this group cannot post polls unless they are granted permission in the board options.

Disallow File Attachments

Members of this group cannot upload attachments unless they are granted permission in the board options.

Email Your Members

Mail Groups

Specify the membergroups to email. Check 'all members' to select all membergroups.

'Mail Groups' Button

This will remove the membergroup list and replace it by a member list, allowing you to send mail to individual members.

Email Subject

Type the subject line of the email.

Email Message

Type the body of the email. You can use the tags '[name]' and '[username]' which will be replaced by the individual member's display name/username.

Export email address list

Export the list of member addresses to disk (saved as a comma delimited file)

Sent emails

View past emails sent to members.

Ban Members

IP banning

Enter IP addresses to ban. One entry per line.

Email banning

Enter email addresses to ban. One entry per line.

Username banning

Enter usernames to ban (removes ability to register under that name). One entry per line.

Reserved Names

Reserved names prevent members from registering with certain usernames or using a certain display name.

Reserved List

The list of reserved names. One entry per line.

Match whole name only

If unchecked, than YaBB will search for the reserved string within username/display name.

Match case

If checked, the reserved names are case sensitive.

Check username

If unchecked, YaBB will not search usernames for reserved names.

Check display name

If unchecked, YaBB will not search display names for reserved names.
