Reorganizing Posts within a Thread

There are no automated sorting routines, but it might be easier for you editing the data files directly instead of using the split/splice tools to do so.

Each topic has it's own text file with the posts it contains. You'll find these files in the Messages directory inside the main YaBB directory. The files are named messageid.txt, where the messageid is a 10-digit number, visible in the URL of that topic (If you look uo in the address bar, you'll find that the messageid of this topic is 1217258825).
These files are ordinary text files, and contain one topic on each line. Just re-arrange the lines as you please. You'll also see the timestamp of each message in there, making them easy to sort.

Just make sure that you make a backup of the file before modifying it, and make sure the permissions of the edited file is correct afterwards (Set it to CHMOD 666 to be sure).
Also, if your text editior wraps the lines, make sure you move the entire line, and not just part of it. It is usually best to turn off text-wrapping.
