So let's find out!

1) Where do you live?   Northern Ireland - where there is more alphabetical soup to describe terrorists, of all persuasions, drug runners and general round baddies who use the excuse of loyalty to the Crown or the furtherance of Irish Unity to line their pockets.

2) How did you first find YaBB?
Scrolling through the web pages of the Department of Trade and Industry when YaBB appeared.

"It matters not how strait the Gate
How charged with punishment the scroll.
I am the Controller of my Fate
I am the Captain of my Soul"

Depending on the version, you should be able to delete your account from your profile, but this will render your account as ex-member which is possibly what the owner objects to. Another option is to go into your profile and change your screen name slightly if you don't want all your posts associated with the name used.

Hey Ken,
I am just about to start hosting on Earthlink. I got a URL, but it's not up yet. I plan on setting up a board so I'd be into any tutorial on using YaBB hosted by Earthlink.  I assume it's not too tough. Anything critical I should know? I got a Mac. Does that matter?

Thanks,
Busk

After years of using wwwboard, I was looking specially for a Perl based forum software.
At the first attempt I tried E-Blah, which I did not like. Then, by using Google, I found
YaBB. I'm extremly happy with it and I like it very much! Specially the ability to extend it
with mods from BoardMod.org.
Smiley

I'm from Ampfing, a small village in Bavaria, Germany.

YAMAHA TR1 Board

Cheers
Manfred

Btw, does anybody know a working method to convert wwwboard to YaBB?

Take it easy! Cool

Hm... and I small write in this topic...

I live in Moscow... it in Russia...
First YaBB find from search engines and use YaBB 1 Gold - SP 1.1, convert this version to XHTML and full CSS style use...
Remember <font size=2 color=$color{'titletext'}> in Y1 code? I kill this all on my forums... Wink Tongue

In 2006 I upgrade my forums in 2.1 version, and again start rewrite this, after I write my first mod Users Avatars Upload... on BoardMod forum I met with Jet Li... Together with it we write more than 40 mods... and in march 2007 join to YaBB Team...

Now we try make YaBB more security, faster and better... Tongue

And when I join David Garrett's site, that's how I found this website. Smiley
