3.1.2a is the latest version of Ikonboard. I have something resembling a converter for the member section. Hopefully this will help someone get started.

Edited:
Let's retry uploading it to see if it's fixed Wink

I think it's because of the file name.  It has a .pl in it, so the server is probably trying to execute it.  Not really a YaBB bug, but I'm reporting it as one, because attachments with .pl and .cgi in them should be changed to _pl and _cgi.

@AK108 - can you please reattach your file with a new name for now?

odd that - last time I tried to attach a .pl file, I was told to try again, as it wasn't an 'allowed' file type?
Edited:
what I mean is, a .zip file should behave and download?
When I right-clicked and saved, it did so and then complained about an empty file

The file has .pl in the name.  Regardless of whether its the last . to create the extension, the server sees .pl and tries to execute it.  It ignores (for some odd reason) the fact that it has a .zip after that.  In any case, this is resolved now, and I have the fixed code online.  But that particular attachment will remain broken until he re-adds it.

It should work, and it uses the .csv backup format for the user's. Just download that and use the converter. It worked for me and the person that originally requested it. I'd love to hear feedback on it, though.

I'm using Ikonboard 3.1.1 Sad

Is there any available 3.1.1 to Yabb2 converter??

Also, it's weird that www.ikonboard.com is inaccesible -- so I couldn't download the 3.1.2a version.

I assume it's close enough to work for the members. As always, make a backup first.

Can someone send me the 3.1.2a CSV field format? I can probably manually format the 3.1.1 CSV to 3.1.2a format.

Thanks in advance.

Passwords aren't converted directly from Ikonboard, as it doesn't export the passwords. You'll need to make a password for all the members and email them or something.

Now that I think of it, I added a password field onto the end of the CSV fields even though there wasn't one to begin with
Code
Select All
MEMBER_ID,MEMBER_NAME,MEMBER_REAL_NAME,DATE_JOINED,EMAIL,GENDER,GROUP,WEBSITE,YAHOO,ICQ,MSN,AOL,LOCATION,PASSWORD
