Yeah, right now school and work are swamping me, soI'm barely able to keep up with the boards these days.  Development on the converter will resume when things calm down for me.

Ok, since we come so far now to the next problem.
Is there an SMF to Yabb Converter out there?

Ok,

then 1.5 -> 1.55 -> SMF -> YaBB2.0

But this still lacking SMF -> Yabb2.0 Wink

Another thing i do not know if there is a change in database design, otherwise it should be possible to go from 1.5.1 to SMF. Cause i do not need a running SMF just an intact database to import the data into YaBB2.

thought of that, the only problem is that the converter at smf does not support the old version. 1.5.0, it starts with 1.5.1 Sad

Upgrade to YaBB SE 1.5.1 then, the downloads are still available via SF, linked on the www.yabbse.org site

I assume you don't get what I'm saying.
YaBB Se has  a converter y1.x>y se . Create the environment for Y se to work, install it, run the converter from a Y 1.x board, then use that converter as the reference point for the y se > y 2 converter.

Well, what'll probably happen for YSE to YaBB is you'll have to go YSE -> SMF -> YaBB

don't see why.
Easy enough to create a YSE board with the old converter, from a Y1.x copy, then read the schema from the converter and use that as the new converter input.   Smiley
