Is there a chance i can upgrade an Existing YaBB SE Vs 1.5.0 to YaBB 2.0?
Is anybody working on a converter for this old or can i possibly use one written for another system?

Forget to mention, all i need is a converter for messages and boards.
We just want  keep old threads as a kind of knowlegebase.

We're working on a Universal Converter.  once we get that project done, we should be able to facilitate this need Smiley

Handy that - a y1>yse converter script still around. Should be able to make a copy of se from 1.x to run the tests on (juts have to make sure mySQL can live with SQL2k)

Well, what'll probably happen for YSE to YaBB is you'll have to go YSE -> SMF -> YaBB

thought of that, the only problem is that the converter at smf does not support the old version. 1.5.0, it starts with 1.5.1 Sad

don't see why.
Easy enough to create a YSE board with the old converter, from a Y1.x copy, then read the schema from the converter and use that as the new converter input.   Smiley

I assume you don't get what I'm saying.
YaBB Se has  a converter y1.x>y se . Create the environment for Y se to work, install it, run the converter from a Y 1.x board, then use that converter as the reference point for the y se > y 2 converter.

Upgrade to YaBB SE 1.5.1 then, the downloads are still available via SF, linked on the www.yabbse.org site
