Would it be easier to understand if it said:

Minimum number of characters required in a new password.

Passwords with fewer characters will be rejected.

Re: Can't reset password
This is getting to be a little off topic, so this part of the thread should possibly be moved, but here goes,  anyway:

When I was doing the Danish language pack for YaBB 2.4, I spent some time ensuring that I understood some of the more obscure texts. Consequently, I did find a few dozen texts that would be better off rewritten and also some obvious improvements to the structure of the help texts. This text was one of the obscure ones (but this is a mild case).

Obviously it is not really worth raising bug reports on things like this, but on the other hand it probably is worthwhile in the long run to make the cosmetic changes - at least in YaBB 3. Is there an efficient way to submit suggestions for changes in the English language files? Or is it perhaps just a question of doing some alpha og beta testing on the texts at some point?

wrong. That not required. Thats if you set 5 of characters. and you set your password with 4, then is your password not strong enough.

Would be Glad to have you do that ... Any questions or posts can be made in this thread http://www.yabbforum.com/community/YaBB.pl?num=1151674674

To start just download a language you understand, then translate the *.lng and *.help files, Do NOT rename file names, just save in a different folder, named for the Vietnamese language.

Hi, are you ever going to get a Hiligaynon version?

Any user may download a (current version) language they understand and are fluent in, then translate to another language they are proficient in.
We Welcome any language version translation, then with participation we would install a support board for that language and a moderator.

Re: Language Team Leaders
it is basically Castilian Spanish

The translator 'yabbero', is actually a Catalan from the Balearic Islands. (he is a friend of mine) Smiley

(I just checked, he drops by regularly - so you might want to PM him, or Post a message on the Spanish Support board)

So you know -- modifying the language files is not very difficult,  one of my group (from the Basque country) was able to make the few changes they wanted.  Its all in text files.

YaBB is truly multi-lingual, and users can change the preferred language at any time, I keep two 'logins', One is English preferred, the other Spanish preferred. The 'auto-language' is a preference in the User Control Panel

The group ran YaBB for a couple of months, and made a list of what they wanted to fix, then made the changes,

Good Luck

Wink
