Yabb 1.3 to 2.1 issue
Hi,
I chatted to Loony today about this a little, but the problem he thought my issue might be, isn't right...

Basically when doing the message conversion it dies with a "500 ISE" in the error logs it just says premature end of script.

Is there anyway to test my messages and perhaps report which topic is screwed?! I assume it is a topic...

Carsten?! anybody?! HELP!!!!

     Stew

Actual error log...

Code Select All
[Mon Dec 05 21:18:07 2005] [error] [client 80.229.155.59] Premature end of script headers: Setup.pl, referer: http://xxxx.xxxx.com/cgi-bin/Setup.pl?action=messages2;count=7;totboard=44

Re: Yabb 1.3 to 2.1 issue
when I've hit this, I just knock the $maxmemsteps increment down by maybe 2000. You end up with more screen refreshes but the processing does get finished.
$maxmemsteps is at the head and memtick (the javascript bit) is at about line 600.

Please don't PM me for support - I'll only go and ignore it!

Re: Yabb 1.3 to 2.1 issue
Well I dropped the settings to 500 and 1000 respectively, and it still does it. So I'm guessing some post data is screwed.

Re: Yabb 1.3 to 2.1 issue
Did you try the latest Setup.pl in cvs (Revision 1.32)?

The $maxmemsteps has nothing to do with the message conversion - but in the latest cvs version there is a $maxmesgteps that affects messages.

Re: Yabb 1.3 to 2.1 issue
hehe - things evolve here - the latest revision is now 1.37 - Due to a (fixed) bug in the yabbc code online here at yabbforum.com, the topic explaining the cvs access is very messy and confusing. You can find the latest Setup.pl attached here:

Re: Yabb 1.3 to 2.1 issue
Ok, done that and the message import went well, hoorah, however...

1. Cleanup stage always gives a ISE, what does it do exactly?
2. I can't login, as anyone, all I ever get it....

Re: Yabb 1.3 to 2.1 issue
This is getting silly....

I can't see this being a particularily hard question to answer.

What does the "Clean up" portion of the conversion do? as I always get an Internal Server Error during it.!!!

Re: Yabb 1.3 to 2.1 issue
I've just taken a look, and it's the boardrecount stage that is dying in both the "Clean Up" and also from the admin page of my site. Is it possible to put in a delay or something, like the messge conversion stage in setup?
