The tags have stopped working, here's an example:
<img src ="http://www.dentaltechnicianforum.co.uk/images/theneteffect.jpg"
It shows a url not an image in 2.2.

Right. That should be fixed.

The problem is that the YaBBC autolinks it first. I'm looking into this.

I don't appear to get ANY html to work in the news section? I tried <font color=red>HELLO</font> and guess what it shows;

<font color=red>HELLO</font>     Grin

So I tried [html]<font color=red>HELLO</font>[/html] (seemed like a good idea at the time!) And I got;

[html]<font color=red>HELLO</font>[/html]     Angry

Am I doing something wrong is is this an error?

my Idea of editing News. Need remove this hightlighed Text and add some needed YaBBC Buttons / Smilies above Textbox Area of edit Forum News Page same as in Posting Page.

Easy .. remove highlighted, since is there anything to enhance the text, that isn't covered by YBBC ?  Smilie buttons might be nice .. but most know how to enter smile code.
