Guess this is my bad - the way i remember it i did remove that code - but cvs history seems to indicate that i did'nt  Embarrassed

Problem could bee that i always test changes in the latest versions of Firefox, Opera and IE - and in IE 7.0 it's not a problem - only in IE 6.0 and older.

Long story short:
iedefault.css should not be there and the following code should be removed from ManageTemplates.pl

Code
Select All
	if ($ENV{'HTTP_USER_AGENT'} =~ /(MSIE) (\d)/) {
		if($aktstyle eq "default" && $2 < 7.0) {
			$aktstyle = "iedefault";
		}
	}

Sorry!

Since ... the call is there ... (ManageTemplates.pl)

Code
Select All
	if ($ENV{'HTTP_USER_AGENT'} =~ /(MSIE) (\d)/) {
		if($aktstyle eq "default" && $2 < 7.0) {
			$aktstyle = "iedefault";

It SHOULD be there !!  and it isn't .... so either the call needs changed or eliminated, or the file be re-added to download

2 more users as of tonight (this morning) report same error.

I was not trying to be defensive. I was just trying to point out an easy way to tell the difference between 2.2 release and prior versions.

Though, that is interesting. I will need to check that out.

To AK108:

Don't defend yourself, because you are not under attack.
Strange however that

Spikecity
YaBB 2 Developer

would be using a wrong version: YABB 2.2 RELEASE -
08 NOV 2007.

I was just stating a fact to help you guys.

Brgds,

We are using Sourceforge's CVS now. If you check the copyright area, you should notice that it is not YaBB 2.2 (and is instead 2.1 or 2.2 DEV). Also look at VERSION.txt in the root of the zip file -- it should be 2.1.

It looks like it only triggers when the admin is using IE.

	if ($INFO{'imgfolder'}) { $imgfolder = $INFO{'imgfolder'}; }

	else { $messagefile = "$aktmessage/MessageIndex.template"; }
	if ($INFO{'displayfile'}) { $displayfile = $INFO{'displayfile'}; }
	else { $displayfile = "$aktdisplay/Display.template"; }

Could this part of ManageTemplates.pl just be pointing to the wrong bit ?
