YaBB Stepping up to the Plate

In order to better organize the YaBB project and bring it back out of the hole it keeps falling into over the past couple of years, we have created new teams for the "staff."

Everyone that is an official part of the YaBB team has been given a new team or teams to be a part of.  Some of these teams are completely new, while others have a slightly different focus than before.  The teams are as follows:

YaBB Administrator
Global Moderator
Operations Team

Legacy Dev Team
Development Team
Jr. Developer

Support Team
Jr. Support Team

Language Team
Theme Team
Documentation Team
Boardmod Team

YaBB Legends
Past Team Members

YaBB Friends

If you would like to be a part of one of these teams, let us know!  We are all volunteers of this great project.  Expect an exciting 2008 for YaBB!

Yeah, found the new titles, and liking it.... at least I feel part of the legacy by now Wink

One of the things I fixed just now is the hourly snapshot (after a server breakdown it seemed the zipping up of the snapshot failed).

So as of now a fresh hourly zipped up shapshot of the YaBB2.2.x Branch of CVS is posted again.

Slightly off topic but, I've just installed this and it looks good.

Okay Ladies,

let's build a new team in order to clean-up the code and to make a new one from the old one.
As for me: at least 20 hours a week can be dedicated to the project.

If your are interested - let me know.

Grin, I was already thinking.... if he want to clean up the code he should not create his own team but join the developers here.

Any hour spent on code is more then welcome as good coders are a rare breed Wink

Your application is under discussion and valuation, just like any others.

The topic of the discussion only can be:
- is clean YaBB code desired or not desired
- is clean YaBB code necessary or should YaBB wait for the release of v3.0

Thanks for your reply.
