I suggest to implement:

1. Reverse Post in Topic - http://www.boardmod.org/yabb/YaBB.pl?board=newsy22;action=display;num=1208441461

2. Options to set the topics to be SORTED within the Board.

A sort of way to show every avatar in thumbnail instead of having to select 1 per 1 to see what it is would be great too.

Sounds like you have an avatar gallery or library in mind.

yes it was Who is Where , only supported till yabb 2.1

It was great mod, i really need it but dont know any mod writers are working on it or not.

its most wanted by all , specially staff members,

and it can be used also for looking after visiters and spammers and much more.

Sounds like the "WhoIsWhere" mod.

I want a means to search my members in the admin section... I have 10k members and sorting through is a MAJOR pain in the arse..
Indeed, that would be quite a welcome addition.  While the Members page does have a "Find Member" box, it isn't quite a search box because it requires an exact username match; it would be nice if partial matches were allowed, as well as searching based on other criteria.

Also, I'd love a "quick-jump" alphabetical link in the Admin Center, like there is in the regular Members page (e.g. when sorting by name, you can click on "M" to get to names starting with M).  This isn't in 2.1, although maybe it was included in 2.2 (I haven't had a chance to upgrade yet).

And, a means to jump to a given page, e.g. if there are 100 pages of members, right now the only way to scroll through those pages is to click on the numbered page links, but if you need to get to (say) page 50, you have a LOT of clicks to do!  It would be good if we could just type "50" in a "Go to page" box and it would take us to page 50, without all that clicking.  This would be both for the Admin Center and for the regular Members page (which has the same problem).

Finally,  when viewing the Members in the Admin Center, only their Display Names are shown; it would be good to be able to see both their Display Names and their usernames simultaneously (or to choose which one to show).

Absolutely. They all use Photobucket which has a resize facility anyway (just one click and it's done) but some don't do it which makes it awkward for other members to read the post as the text always extends the width of the frame (especially if you have a long post, a few pics and a fair amount of test - typical in an account of a day out in the field).

I've also got the imageshack uploader which will create thumbnail links which I repeatedly ask to be used, but hey ho that's the way it goes  Smiley

Cheers

Understand your need for such a feature... but resizing can be done by anyone, simply, and online.

http://www.picresize.com/

There are dozens of sites just like it.  I provide a few different links in my forum's post about picture size and only very rarely does one get posted beyond the limits.

The only thing that irritates me about the YaBB forum is it's inability to handle images larger than the limits of the forum.

I run a site where members just love to post images, and I can ask them as much as I want to keep them to 650px wide but half of them haven't got kids available to resize images for them  Grin

The mod for 2.1 was just a godsend, if this is brought into the new version of YaBB I would be a very happy bunny!

Those are possible with the split and splice features that are standard.
Oops, guess I was completely blind and missed that.  I thought it was kind of a big omission - guess that was an omission on MY part! Tongue  Sorry.

Joining users would still be a great feature though. Smiley

I would also like the ability to merge threads... I think that's a big omission in the feature list.  (It should actually be fairly straightforward to implement, too.)

I would also like the ability to move posts from one thread to new thread (e.g. to break out off-topic posts into a new thread).  This is not possible at the moment as far as I can tell.

One feature that I asked for in a different thread is, I think, very important: the ability to merge user accounts.  Sometimes users will register twice (e.g. they forgot the password to their previous account and just registered again rather than resetting their password).

Right now, there is no easy way to combine user accounts... it must all be done manually, and for a user with hundreds or thousands of posts, that is not at all realistic.

That's my list, so far... Smiley  I'll add more if I can think of it.
