I ask new option in admin center, that will allow/disallow admins edit user messages without alert "this message was edited by ... on ...".

it is useful when deleting offtopic or fixing misspelling.

Why do you want nobody to notice this change enven not the author?

"edited" message are useful most times.

what I want - it needed in cases of minor edits.

sometimes I have a conflict with my members - I rename topic by editing first message because of misspelling, and member can't understand why somebody edit his message in case he don't breaking the rules

Does it hard to code it?

No, but should be more adaptable. For example with a checkbox for the moderator to show or not the edit when he is editing it.
