automatic turn off the email Notifications if the user hasn't logged in for XX days?

Sort of like that too ... except maybe not PM notification .. (if enabled) hate to fill the inbox without filling his/her email box.

Good Idea!

What about an automatic turn off the email Notifications if the user hasn't logged in for XX days?

At present Admin can select allowing Email Notifications, Everyone Allowed or None.
Add a permission option of Allowing by membergroup.

On large forums or any forum, where the Admin doesn't want or desire allowing email to everyone, this would allow Admin to (for example) Allow Email Notification by Admin/Global Moderator/Moderator Only or only certain groups.

Sometimes, members are not active, after setting notifications, then possibly tagging the email to their junk folder and not returning to shut Notifications off, in their profile, causing uneeded mail generation to grow.
