In MyCenter.pl find
Code
Select All
					${$username}{'PMmnum'}--;

and replace it with
Code
Select All
					if ($INFO{'caller'} == 1) { ${$username}{'PMmnum'}--; }
					elsif ($INFO{'caller'} == 2) { ${$username}{'PMmoutnum'}--; }

negative inbox counter

I was just cleaning out my inbox (Yab 2.5 on a Linux hosted platform on the scienceforums site - http://sciencefile.org/forums ) and finally managed to get it clear (saving to newly created folders using the 'save' facility) when I noticed it was now indicating -51 messages. No other symptoms or problems are apparent and the inbox itself seems to be OK.

Certain reproducible on YaBB 2.4 when Alerts are sent to Mods, those mods may start to see -1 New Messages.

I had this problem with only one member.
The solution for me was simple, thanks to the guys on here.

Maybe this will work ok for you, if its not many with the problem.

Any suggestion?

This happens to me as well, almost every time I store some PM's, is there any way to tell if this is a bug or if I'm doing something wrong?

Thanks.

Many thanks both,
I only changed the minus number to '0', & it worked fine.

Thank you OH Eng,
I will try that, & I guess Quote:
'PMfoldersCount',"19|20"
the highlighted should also be zero, which is what the Inbox should be?

Thanks for the fast reply CJ,
I have done that Quote:
'PMmnum',"-20"
'PMimnewcount',"0"
'PMmoutnum',"29"
'PMstorenum',"39"
'PMdraftnum',"0"
'PMfolders',"in|out"
'PMfoldersCount',"19|20"
'PMbcRead',""

but don't know what to do with the info.

Tony

If that's the members ims file, use a text editor like Notepad or equivalent and change the number highlighted to what it should be, save it, then upload it to the Members directory (ASCII transfer mode).  That should fix it.
