initial install for CentOS

I went thru all the list of what the specs that were required for yaBB and I read the post: http://codex.yabbforum.com/YaBB.pl?num=1216527632 ; but I want to make sure this DOES incluse CentOS.  I am very new to installing something completely from scratch  Shocked.  I asked our host what linux they used and they said "a heavily modified CentOS."  I did some searches on the web about centos and it seems as though its a changed redhat.

I am trying to install it for my site: http://webmisdirection.com for the forums because I've liked yaBB better then all the other forums I've used and would like to incorporate it.  Before I start re-reading that installation post, I'd like to make sure CentOS is an acceptable form of Linux.

Thanks  Grin

Yep

I have a forum running on Centos 5.  YaBB will run on just about any *nix version.

We will be here if you have questions.

Good Luck
