Hi, Yabblets!, Hope this is the right forum to ask how do I resize forum to about 60% of page width?á I would eventually like to have one column on left hand side of page and then forum if poss but just how to resize would do for now?

Thx in advance

Can I also say Yabb forum is VERY VERY slow in loading and when I try to access codex I get a message like this:
Unable to open /home/groups/y/ya/yabb/persistent/codexdata/Messages/1232862871.ctb

There are no actions to perform.
In the forum's default.css

Code (CSS)
Select All
body {
  padding: 0;
  background-color: #eeeeee;
  font-family: Verdana, Helvetica, Arial, Sans-Serif;
  font-size: 12px;
  margin-top: 5px;
  margin-left: 0;
  margin-right: 0;
  padding-top: 0;
  padding-left: 0;
  padding-right: 0;
  min-width: 770px;
}

Within the default.html widths are in percentage of the users screen resolution.

The YaBB Forum, BoardMOD and the Codex were just moved to the Sourceforge Server and we are experiencing various problems with the move.  CHMODs seem to be the problem with the Codex and will be corrected as soon as we are able to get to that site.  Sorry for the inconvenience.

the css states minimum ...
The forum will fit in any area of the screen not used.  Insert your column, then the forum will fill what's left.
  See the Codex for an example sidebar http://www.yabbforum.com/codex/YaBB.pl?num=1257569680

Cheers for about.  Tried, but far to complicated for me.  Is there a board in this forum where for a VERY PALTRY sum I could pay someone to resize forum?

There are no actions to perform.
Open yabbfiles/Templates/Forum.Your-Style.css

find:

Code
Select All
#maincontainer{
	width: 92%;
	margin-left: auto;
	margin-right: auto;
	padding: 0px;
	border-top: 0px;
	margin-bottom: 10px;
}

Change the 92% to 80% or whatever.

I make mistakes - That's how I learn.
