Registration Notifications Slow?

Hi,

On one of my forums the registration process is set to "Pre-registration with email notification and Admin approval"

I'm using the default for sending mail, having not touched them apart from putting my password in as it had the default one in.

Problem is that it takes 4 hours to send me a notification of a new registrant.

As I'm not the brightest of Admins, is there a default setting that I can change so that it sends it to me quicker than that?

Many Thanks.

Nope ... YaBB sends the notification (action) to the mail server of your Host (Immediately).  Your Host sets up how often mail is actually sent.

So what could be causing that then Capt.? Huh All board notifications come through instantly, all email from that address does like wise, it is just the registration emails that doesn't.

If it is web fusion, then I want to get my facts right before blaming them?

and how much mail the mail server is handling at that exact moment

Hi Capt. Yep fully converse with that, but email to that same address that is sent direct is instant, whereas if it is sent via the new registration process takes 4 hours + I wonder if there is a problem whereby it gets caught in the ISP's spam filter system?
