But shouldn't we add an admin option for post popup on the different pages? I have if statements in there but I never made it an option, so right now it just happens all the time.

I think so, because Quick Reply Options have not functionality if Post popup is active.

Actually it should be easy because I forgot the buttons have their own folder haha.

Make sure you don't get my new buttons since they aren't finished. Just grab the new images for the new feature I've put in  Wink

If one of you guys can package up the latest files (sources, templates, images) from SVN (or the Dev board if SVN isn't updated) then I can put the code on this forum if you think it's stable.

I think I'm going to make it an admin option for the board default and a user option to turn it on/off.

What should we do with Quick Post/Reply Box (Settings)?
Rename this to Quick Post/Reply Box (Ajax)?

Yea I was planning on having boards drop down with their subboards.

Right now I'm working on a pop up post box so we don't have to visit the posting page or load it on every messageindex / post display.

Definitely a unique method I haven't seen.  I like it but it would definitely take time getting used to using it versus traditional clicking on titles like most every web page works.

What about boards with sub boards?  Can it have the expand arrow too then show the sub boards which also have the expand arrow to list the topics?  That might get a bit busy and wide though especially if there is more than one sub board.

Hey guys,

I suggested this a while ago for how to revolutionize the newest version of yabb. You can test it out on the dev forum:

http://www.dev.yabbworld.com/cgi-bin/forum/YaBB.pl

Hit the gray arrows on each expandable board and a drop down will appear with the message index conveniently collapsed and all accessible through just the board index. The traditional way of viewing the message index is still there as well.

There are still things to do, such as making shifting through pages also update in the new drop down.

Suggestions are welcome.
