@ Jet Li

ONLY if your a member (with a cookie) that has been banned.  Can not Ban a guest from surfing to any website and attempting to view, banning a guest will only cause more errors written to error.log.
Not all errors in the error log are bad ... most show that the settings (permissions) and YaBB security is working.  eg If an error reports a guest was unable to view, unable to login, unable to post ...  the YaBB is working !

Ever heard from IP banning in Ban Members Section? If you add your IP there, and you visit as guest the forum you get this Message:

Quote:
System Information

Banning Notification. Sorry, you are banned from using this forum!

It would be nice to be able to ban an ip address from the error log screen.

You can NOT Ban a Guest from visiting, viewing and attempting to access... You can Ban a Guest from becoming a Member
