Members deleted automatically.
Hello!

I have many problems on the forum.
First are members who can not join the forum. It's like banned. Only if they use another IP address can join.
A second problem is that if a new member is registered, an old member is automatically deleted.
A third problem is that not all board members receive our e-mails.
But the first two issues are most important.

I have a requestT. How can I install the new version? I have 2.3.1 version and I saw that the latest version is 2.5 AE.
I do not know how to do.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Members deleted automatically.
To upgrade simply follow the directions in the Quick-Guide included in the Y2.5AE installation pack.

Where are you verifying old members are being deleted ? As for Banning have you checked the Guardian for wild card banning that may effect users ?

Re: Members deleted automatically.
Deleted members have on their posts  "ex-member".
In Guardian is no one banned.
Sorry what I have to do in Guardian?

Thank you.

Re: Members deleted automatically.
a member who has No profile, is declared an ex-member.
The only way to return such a member is to restore their profile by either uploading their .vars file from a Backup or manually recreating each.

Re: Members deleted automatically.
But what I do to stop this happening?
And the worst part is that there are many members who can not access the forum.

I see at their post that are ex-members.
And I don't know how to upgrade the new version. I have 2.3.1 version.

Re: Members deleted automatically.
For example if we have 800 registered members and another 10 join the forum appearing only 805 not 810.
The last 10 members see them in the members list but others disappear.

Re: Members deleted automatically.
Have you modified your forum in any way recently ?
How long have you been running Y2.3.1 ?
What is the registration date of the Admin ?  What is the "start" date of your forum in Admin Center > Forum Settings ?
FTPing or viewing in your Server panel, are member .vars files in the ./Members folder 0 (zero) bytes ?
Have you checked with your Host as to how much harddisk space you have left ?
 See YaBB Codex http://www.yabbforum.com/codex/YaBB.pl?num=1202251271/0#1
Have you verified your folder and file CHMODs, are correct ?

Okay ... go into Admin Center, put forum in Maintenance Mode.  Run ALL the Maintenance functions from top to bottom.
 Remove forum from Maintenance Mode.

try it.
