Banned words

Obviously there are words that need sorting out and I have added many to my forum settings. However, the forum is linked to my website that lists and deals with Top Trumps and there is a series known as c#ckpit symbol. I have not added the word c#ck and it is not in the list but people are unable to use the links, instead I am emailed the info that 'abuse' has been stopped.

How, do I get around this seeing as it is a legitimate word and forms part of a word? There are not too many posts on my forum as it deals with something that is specialised (for collectors mainly) so any genuine abuse can be handled quickly.

Thank you!

Hi,

Which list are you talking about - the 'Censored Words' list, 'Antispam Settings' or 'The Guardian'?

'c#ck' is in the 'Censored Words' list by default - have you removed it from there?

Edited:
In 'Admin Center => The Guardian => Environment String Blocking' - You definitely don't have 'c#ck' in the list?

I have checked the Censored Words section and it is not there as I removed it soon after setting the forum up.
