You have helped me a lot of times over the years.
We were emailing back and forth at one point with an issue that you did in fact resolve.

I don't remember what it was but you got it.

Man
I thought you had retired healthy, wealthy and of course very wise.

Great to hear from you again.

You take care and be safe
Thank you Michael

You could probably kind of automate the conversion process. Free tools like ImageMagicking allow to convert pdf to jpg/png from the command line, which can easily be automated.

No ... the PDF format doesn't lend itself to exporting the text.  A PDF must be displayed within a PDF Reader or as you found as an image.

I can do PDF's as a URL as we all know.
I have a client with a YaBB forum and they get PDF updates and promos from their vendors often.
The key to this is if a forum visitor can download the PDF by URL . There is no real text content from that PDF in the forum just a link.

They keep asking me is there is a way to actually display the PDF as it is with "Text" as opposed to a PDF image.

I have not had a lot of time to mess with it but I cannot find a way to post a PDF that contains text as it is

Like I was saying we want the "text" content of those PDF's to display as text then a link to there other websites which is great for SE marketing as most of us know.

One of the more cumbersome ways that I have accomplished this is to make it a PDF image (convert to jpg or gif) which displays as a n image and then manually take the text from the original PDF and post that above the image of the PDF.
that does work
