Allowing members to post
I had to redoe the forum 100% because we could not change it form the old server to the new server. When done with setting everything up, we went live and only have a few registered members. I require everybody who wants to view the forum to register. However I am unsure if those people can post. What and how do I allow "New registered members" the ability to post on the forum?

Re: Allowing members to post
Well - I'm GUESSING you had a 'semi-closed' forum, where you had to be a member to post.

Check your settings in the Admin Center > Forum Settings > Members -

enable Guest posting  should be 'off' (unchecked)

By default, registered members should now be able to post.

Soo - I suggest you do something bold like creating a new user to test with.

Admin Center > Member Controls > Add Member.

Good Luck
I find your lack of faith disturbing.
