As you see under Jump to, the Cats are there, But they won't display until you have added "Boards" to each Cat.

See the Codex http://www.yabbforum.com/codex/YaBB.pl?board=understandac

Hi,

I am trying to install version 2.3.1 from cPanel
The install seemed to go fine and the board shows up

I am trying to add categories under forum control>categories
I have added 3 new ones here.
Now when I go back to the forum they are not displayed but they
do show up in the “jump to” at bottom of screen. When I try to use
this to view one of the 3 forums I get this error: Error: Unable to open tc1

The only error I can find that may be nothing to do with it is this:

Also under Module check all but one are showing as installed. There is the error
from the one showing not installed:

Net::SMTP::TLS Information provided by the system:

Can't locate Net/SMTP/TLS.pm in @INC (@INC contains: /usr/lib64/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8/x86_64-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl /usr/lib64/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.8/x86_64-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.8 /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl /usr/lib64/perl5/5.8.8/x86_64-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.8 . ./Modules) at (eval 18) line 3. Used to send emails via SMTP::TLS.
This module is only needed if you want to send your emails via Net::SMTP::TLS. If you do not send your emails via Net::SMTP::TLS, you do not need this module.
