Re: viewing attachments
Okay, simple enough to fix. In your default.html file find:

Code Select All
{yabb style}

And add after:

Code Select All
{yabb syntax_js}
<script language="JavaScript1.2" type="text/javascript" src="{yabb html_root}/YaBB.js"></script>

You should find your images will work then...

Re: viewing attachments
I have a question ... are you using the default.html file from the YaBB 2.5 Installation zip ?

Should read <!-- YaBB 2.5 AE $Revision: 1.19.2.4 $ -->

Or are you using a default.html file from your old forum ?  What version was your old forum ?   You could be missing other important tags that are needed for other advanced features added to the latest version (Y2.5)

Re: viewing attachments
Yes, I'm using that file. Is the one you are talking about downloadable separately?

Re: viewing attachments
can I ask a stupid question?

I like here that you have a reverse order on messages. I've looked at the options on the 2.5 ME forum and tried different options, but that doesn't seem to be an option or it isn't working. Hopefully it is related or I've just been brain dead.

Thanks again for all your help!

Re: viewing attachments
Admin Center => Forum Settings - Posting tab:

Reverse post order in Topic, so that latest post is at top? (Default, unless changed by user; see next checkbox ...)

And...

Allow users to select the display order of posts in Topics?

Did my last reply fix your problem with images, or have you not tried it?

Re: viewing attachments
Those are the settings that I have for latest post and I haven't changed them. It must be related.

Re: viewing attachments
Nope, that won't be related. If you want them reversed by default (for everybody), then uncheck 'Allow users to select the display order of posts in Topics?'.

If that option is checked, then you'll also have to look at this option in User CP => Options:

Do you want to reverse the displayed order of posts in the topic?
If checked, posts are displayed from most recent post first to oldest post last. If unchecked, the oldest post displays first, newest post displayed last.
Note: You can change this option by clicking on the name of the topic on the topic page.

Also note the highlighted.

That was it! I found the original default.html and restored it and all is well.

Also, that tip about the posting order is what I was wanting. Is there a way to set the default on that to have newest first?

If you want to know what it looks like as default, then log out of your forum and view it as a guest...
