I know this isn't exactly what you want and doesn't solve all of your queries, but it might 'sort of' give you a little of what you want:

I have now installed this mod, but have also found that it is no longer needed, as I have had absolutely NO bogus registration attempts arrive in the Registration Log since I installed this mod:

It would be relatively simple to add another line to the far right column of the pre-registration log that says "Immediately Reject and Ban Email Address" .  I would also like to see a mechanism by which I can reject/delete a whole page of the log with one keystroke instead of having to click on each name.  When dealing with 50-100 trash members a day, it can be very time consuming.  I simply do not have the time to copy and paste each of those spammers into the Ban Members page.
Thanks in advance

Hi,

I know this isn't exactly what you want and doesn't solve all of your queries, but it might 'sort of' give you a little of what you want:

I was attempting to reduce the number of trash members by
activating .htaccess to add IP blocks on server level.
I intended to enter IP address with the last two octets as wild cards using the following nomenclature:
91.224.***.***
It didn't work. The I noticed the following line:
(* wildcards allowed, one per line)
Two questions.
1 - Am I using the correct wild card character?
2 - Does this mean I can only block the last octet using the wildcard once?
