I'm really confused now....
Everything says 2.3.1.
I spent over half an hour making sure all the chmods were correct.
Been trying to think what my problem is and i'm wondering.
Quote:YaBB_2_5_upgrade_all = 2 folders (cgi-bin & public_html)
YaBB_2_5_upgrade_from_2_3_x = 2 folders (cgi-bin & public_html)
I may have put the files in the wrong place, but im not sure.
In my ULTIMATE ROOT where my public_html folder is I didn't place the cgi-bin folder. Instead I placed the cgi-bin folder here:
/public_html/cgi-bin
Should it be in the ultimate root?
/cgi-bin
I installed yabb in /public_html/yabb
So this is how I uploaded the files:
I uploaded the cgi-bin folder in the public_html root:
/public_html/cgi-bin/
/public_html/yabb/
When I first tried an update and failed I placed the yabbfiles as it is in the download:
/public_html/yabb/yabbfiles/
I did that a couple of weeks ago, and failed to upgrade.
Now the stable version 2.5 is out, I thought I would give it a go again.
The files inside yabbfiles I placed inside the yabb directory.
/public_html/yabb/
As you can see I messed it up slightly and would appreciate any help tidying these files up.
Is it possible to just delete the yabb folder, recreate it with the new files and keep members and their posts and all info?
As I said before, so sorry to be a pain.
