Changing the Navigation links?

Our site has a few static tabs that I can't edit directly from the site.

I've spent 1-2 weeks searching for the file containing any trace of where I could change this.. nothing.

This seems like it should be ridiculously easy, all I'm trying to do is change where the "Home" tab directs the user to.

We are running Cpanel X "Accelerated 2", and YaBB 2.3.1

Any help would be appreciated, I can't imagine there isn't a file in the database or tab on the admin panel I haven't at least briefly looked over.

Oh, I suppose stating my question would do some good..

Does anyone know where I should be looking?

Is there a certain file dedicated to this that I may have simply overlooked?

I apologize for bringing this to the forum, it seems hardly worth a post.. but I'm lost. lol

Hi Banes,

For the tab, see this line in Sources/TabMenu.pl:

Code (Perl)
Select All
    $tab{'home'} = qq~<span |><a href="$scripturl" title = "$img_txt{'103'}" style="padding: 3px 0 4px 0;">$tabfill$img_txt{'103'}$tabfill</a></span>~;

And if your users have the option to use the old 2.1 template, then you'll need to edit Sources/Subs.pl too for the button:

Code (Perl)
Select All
        $yymenu = qq~<a href="$scripturl">$img{'home'}</a>$menusep<a href="$scripturl?action=help" style="cursor:help;">$img{'help'}</a>~;

It worked! Thank you so much! lol.

I see what I couldn't find it, I assumed it would have the <a href> set to the URL it currently goes to, not the script.

You're welcome.

Yep. All the links within the forum are like that, and then followed by where the URL goes, for example:

Code (Perl)
Select All
$scripturl?action=help

But the $scripturl variable is really just the full URL to your forum anyway. If you was to print it, you would get something like this:

Code
Select All
http://my-great-website.com/yabb2/YaBB.pl
