Excellent news --- sounds fantastic!

I'm very much looking forward to finding out more and seeing some more movement towards the next generation of YaBB and hopefully a road-map to a more secure future will be developed.

Thanks for letting us know, keep us informed of progress and please let me know if I can be of any assistance with the limited time I have available.

You have my full support, and as I said in another post, www.adventurepro.com.au will commit to purchasing a licensed version of YaBB 3 when it's released.

Hopefully more people will do the same?  Wink

Hi Everyone.

We are about to start several new teams here at YaBB.  I'm not going to get very specific in this post, but they will be fairly open and be mentored. I'll be leading one of the teams with the assistance of Corey and LoonyPandora. The intent is to get people working in a hands-on collaborative environment.  I'll soon have a YouTube video explaining what, how and why.

My intent is to get as many folks involved as possible with the 'big tent' model in mind.

You'll learn a bit about server engineering, modern code design, exposure to admirable software and tools, and gain critical insight into what it takes to drive a successful project - plus a large dose of MySQL!.  We'll be working on renovating YaBB's documentation, and creating a road-map for development in the process.  You will not need any pre-defined skillset beyond a sincere desire to learn and participate.  Smiley
