As Dandello mentioned, those images are still missing. They've actually been missing since before the change to the new server.

The reason for this is because the server YaBB is pulling those images from has moved them to another location.

Let's take the image for English.

YaBB is pulling it from the following location:

http://www.linkular.com/images/flags/english.png

However, the actual location is as follows:

http://www.foxlingo.com/img/flags16x16/english.png

I'm surprised that YaBB is pulling these images from another sever. I never do that unless of course I have permission. I'm guessing this was an inadvertent mistake.

Presuming that YaBB can use these images, and I believe they can since FoxLingo is freeware, it would be more appropriate for YaBB to pull these images from its own server.

The images needed are located on this page, and can presumably be downloaded from there since again, the software states it is freeware.

In any case, the missing images problem is evidently an easy one to fix, so please fix it.

Thanks!

Edited to correct two bad links.

I'm still seeing the alt text rather than pix for the language choices on the index page for the codex.

The problem is likely the same as it was on the main forum - a missing symlink (symbolic link) - when that link is put in place all the issues will disappear.

Try it now.  It should be fixed.  I had to add a symbolic link to point to the non-web folder where attachments actually are.  This has probably been broken since the server change based on that.

Ah, I see. It's because the language translation images can't be found - FireFox displays the alt attribute text instead which stretches the page out.

Ah, right you are; again! You always figure this stuff out. Smiley

So I guess someone needs to fix those images.  Roll Eyes

Also; rendering issue while using Firefox

There are no actions to perform.
Also, for some reason the codex section doesn't render properly in Firefox; but then that's always been the case.

If you're curious, compare codex with Firefox and Internet Explorer.

Whoops! I inadvertently hit the enter key, which posted/saved my reply before I was finished.

There are no actions to perform.
Some members were reporting issues with image attachments not showing up or not being able to download attachments at yabbforum.com since the server change recently.  These issues should now be resolved.  We apologize for any issues this may have caused you.
