There are no actions to perform.
By the way, Neil, the first two links to the left of the "Home" button in your forum's menu are bad links. This is easy to fix, so if you need help with it, just let us know.

You have a great looking forum!  Smiley

Morning, noon, or night, have a great one!

Hi everyone-can anybody help one of the admins on our site register here?

Cool

Welcome to YaBB's community support forum!

This forum only has one active administrator, and for whatever reason he has his email address hidden from the public. As such, I'm not at liberty to reveal it (*see below for his email availabilty).

Only members can access his email address, but at least this is a step in the right direction.

Also, you can access his profile at this link to send him a PM.

Or if you're logged on, you can click this link to PM him directly.

Thankfully, you don't have to be a registered member to access this forum to benefit from the help that's offered.

On a related note, it's not uncommon for email providers like AOL and Yahoo to block automated messages such as those that get sent to people who register. So if your admin uses either one of those providers, then she won't be able to register without help.

The reason for this is because even though this forum still has open registration without approvals, unless this has changed since we've been told about this, for whatever reason it doesn't allow a new member to choose their own password until after they've logged on for the first time with the password that's been assigned to them.

Obviously, if that information gets blocked by an email provider such as AOL or Yahoo, open registration is most definitely closed. Sorry.

This forum's current admin, JonB, is often busy with other projects, so there are stretches of time when he's not around. But for the most part he's usually pretty quick, so hang in there. He'll probably be around to help pretty soon.

Meanwhile, if there's another problem other than a registration one that your admin needs help on, feel free to ask for that help on her behalf.
