There are no actions to perform.
Has been updated and made public in my profile.

If it becomes a spam honey-pot or is abused, it will be changed & made private again.

Thanks

Kudos!  Smiley

I think you may have forgotten that only members can access your profile's email link. As such, anyone who's having trouble getting registered in this forum won't be able to contact you directly.

A "best practices" thing to do is to have a contact link of some kind listed on the forum's menu (as well as listed in the help section).

On our forum's registration page, I even have an email address listed for anyone who's having difficulty getting registered.

As you must surely know, you don't have to list an email address for people to send you email if that's a concern of yours. You can manage it a different way.

Morning, noon, or night, have a great one!

Note: Like most others, this forum doesn't allow us to freely edit our posts or topics to make corrections as needed, so please remember to look for subsequent posts if you see any mistakes or outdated information. Sorry for the inconvenience.

There are no actions to perform.
If a link is used in the menu, there are steps that can be used that are supposed to stop most bots from picking up the link.

I have a link to my email located on several pages within my site and spam is minimal.

There is also the option of a contact page with a form that emails the admin. On this page could be a custom security question to prevent spam.

Just my 2 cents  Smiley
