How to change letters in CAPTCHA?
Hello! I installed Yabb 2.5.2 and were a little upset that bots successfully continue to pass captcha test and post undesireable messages. I think that in my russian forum changing letters in the test from english to cyrillic would be a solution. Is it possible? If yes, what should I do?

And my second question. Is there any way to show anti-spam question for guest posting a message?

Do you have 'Spam Fruits' activated? By activating Spam Fruits, it will help to stop the spam.
Admin center > Anti-spam Settings > Activate SpamFruits Spambot catcher. Check for 'yes'

Yes, but SpamFruits module works only for registrations, and I'd like to have additional protection with non-registrated guests.

Re: How to change letters in CAPTCHA?
The captcha letters are created by the file '.Sources/Captcha.pl'

The letters themselves are generated gifs. So I expect you could edit them to Cyrillic - but you have to make sure the input also recognizes Cyrillic. There's also ggn's captcha hack : ( http://www.yabbforum.com/community/YaBB.pl?num=1324832594/0)

You might also go over to Carsten's Board (http://www.carsten-dalgaard.dk/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl) and see if he can come up with a way to use SpamFruits as the Guest checker.

Re: How to change letters in CAPTCHA?
Thank you! I like the way with additional characters and I've just implemented it. I'll look how it will impact on spam and how visitors will understand it.
