banned member list gone

I was trying to remove an IP ban via the admin centre when my internet connection broke. In attempting to reconnect something went wrong and the ban.txt file was deleted. I uploaded an old version, but the changes won't 'filter through'. ie when I click on 'Ban Members' all the sections are still empty. I tried rebuilding the member list. Any other tips?

Thanks. Are there any other deprecated files I should get rid of? I normally just copy over the old Variables folder whenever I upgrade.

Here's a list of the files I have in my 2.5.2 Variables folder: Quote:
.htaccess
Admin.helporder
adminlog.txt
allowed.txt
attachments.txt
ban_log.txt
bots.hosts
clicklog.txt
ConvSettings.txt
email_domain_filter.txt
errorlog.txt
flood.txt
Gmod.helporder
gmodsettings.txt
index.html
log.txt
maillist.dat
Menu0.def
Menu1.def
Menu2.def
Moderator.helporder
modlist.txt
mostlog.txt
news.txt
oldestmes.txt
registration.log
reserve.txt
reservecfg.txt
Settings.pl
Setup.lock
spamrules.txt
User.helporder

I usually don't bother to remove Setup.lock although I should.
