underline feature broken
The underline feature is broken on my forum. I tried viewing the posts with different templates in case it was a colour issue.

Check in your style sheet if the below is present:

in default.css find
}
.message a:hover {
    text-decoration: underline;
    color: #000000;
    background-color: transparent;
}

and add after

.u, .under {
text-decoration:underline;
}

Re: underline feature broken
I've upgraded to 2.5.2 I used this to fix the underline feature of the default template, but it doesn't work for the Blue or Yabb25 templates. I haven't changed them in any way. Is there something else I can do?

Re: underline feature broken
The 2.5 template should have underlines.
For the Blue_1, add the '.u, .under' code to the blue_1.css as well. Then check to make sure your copy of yabb25.css has it as well - it should be right at the bottom of the file. It it doesn't, you'll need to add it.

Re: underline feature broken
Thanks, this worked - but I didn't think so. I put in the under and checked on my forums - but it didn't work. So I was going to come here later and ask what to do - but by then it was working.

Re: underline feature broken
AAK! It ate my post.  Angry

What happens is: your browser stores style sheets in its cache to keep from having to load the stylesheet everytime it changes to pages using the same stylesheet. BUT, if the stylesheet has changed, the browser may not realize it. So you have to force your browser to dump the old stylesheet and load the new one (CTRL F5). And occasionally you need to use your browser tools to dump the old stylesheet. (AKA clearing the cache.) http://www.wikihow.com/Clear-Your-Browser's-Cache

I have the same issue with the underline not working in 2.5.2. Inserted the code and all is good.

If you haven't done so yet, you may want to download and install the bug fix for 2.5.2. It has other fixes in it as well besides the underline problem.
NOTE: You may want to remove the underline fix that you did before installing this, so it doesn't appear twice in the syle sheet.

You can download it here.
