CGI Error in Advanced Settings menu selection
Jan 6th, 2013 at 8:21pm
Post Tools
I have just updated my forum to YABB 2.5.2 and I can get to all administrative tools except the Advanced Settings option.  I see this error:

The specified CGI application misbehaved by not returning a complete set of HTTP headers.

My server is a windows 2003 server and I'm not sure what flavor of iis is installed.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

PM me with the particulars for your site. A copy of the server error file will also be helpful. (You can post that here. In cases like this, the server errors give pretty good diagnostic information. )

To let every one know - flyfishnc now can get into Advanced Settings. The solution for his server was to remove all the code directly related to checking the freespace on the server and setting up quota choices. We currently have no way of knowing exactly why the freespace code was causing issues. But it is on the 'to investigate' list.

Thanks for letting us know. I was wondering what was causing his error. I've never used any one of the three options to enable free disk space checking.

Morning, noon, or night, have a great one!
