But if you're looking to move menu tabs around, I simply use YaBB's "Edit tabs" option.

The actual order is in Variables/Settings.pl - '@AdvancedTabs'.

I guess one way would be to make a tab which is really just a break.

In Sources/TabMenu.pl find:

    $tab{'home'} = qq~<span |><a href="$scripturl" title = "$img_txt{'103'}" style="padding: 3px 0 4px 0;">$tabfill$img_txt{'103'}$tabfill</a></span>~; 

And add before - you might need to add another break tag depending on how you want it:

    $tab{'break'} = qq~<br /><br />~; 

Then in your Settings.pl add the highlighted (or wherever you want the break):

YaBB's menu tab layout seems to be perfectly fine, especially when ad admin uses shading or colors in their style sheet to better identify menu tabs.

On the note of making YaBB's layout look easier to read, starting here in this topic a request was made to increase the thickness of one line in the message area so that there'd be a gap between messages.

Dandello came up with a solution that worked (referenced here), and so did Merv thanks to Derek Barnstorm (referenced here).

Including additional functionality in the Admin Center's Forum Layout would be wonderful.

Something to think about - at least with these instructions an Admin can add them by hand.
