In 2.5.2: Templates/default/default.html right around line 40 or 41 - that's where the link is. You can edit it in the Admin Center from the Template screen.

Look around the Admin center while you're there - make sure you have some anti-spam features turned on and create some custom anti-spam questions and answers before you turn on anti-spam questions.

Thanks, I changed the path and picture & graphic are working!
Now, I want to change the logo and the link. I already change the logo, but I don't know how to change the link.

Once Yabb has been installed (even without the graphics) you can log into the Admin Center and edit the paths. (for the folders in yabbfiles there are two paths - the url and the server path - both have to be correct.)

Well, we finally got the Setup.pl to appear correctly, but some of the path I did not put them correctly so the page don't show any graphic or picture. How can I go back to put the right path?

Can you get their text example script to print to the screen what it's supposed to? (I wonder about CGI binaries, too - Perl is generally written in ASCII and should never be uploaded as binary.)

You may have to make a call to GoDaddy's tech support as, according to what they've told you, Setup.pl should work. BUT it's possible the file permission needs to be 777 instead of 755 for their system and it's possible it needs to be set via their file management system.

My personal experience with GoDaddy has not been good, so unless their Perl support has vastly improved in the past 12 months, I'd start looking for another hosting service.  Sad (But that's based on my experience with them.)

With my host I can use .cgi or .pl

I can not use /cgi-bin/ so I renemed it /Forum/

all folder have the right permissions

How can I turn on a folder for Perl? I don't know how to do that. Is it me or the host who has to turn on the folder?

I used 'filezila' to upload the files with the setting in auto for ASCII or binary, is that ok or I better reload them using ASCII? I thought that Yabb has both ASCII and binary.

I'm using Godaddy as the host, and this is what they say:

You can publish your PERL files to any directory.

NOTE: The file's permissions must be set to execute to work.

If you have a CGI/Perl-enabled account, the system path to our Perl interpreter is:

#!/usr/bin/perl

CGI binaries must end in .cgi or .pl. You cannot use /cgi-bin/ with our hosting system.

Example of a Test PERL Script

#!/usr/bin/perl

use CGI qw(:standard);
print "Content-type: text/html\n\n";
print "Greetings user.\n";

Does your host require the files be named .cgi? or they need to be in a specific folder? Are the folder permissions correct? Is Perl actually turned on for that folder? (I know these sound like repeats and really dumb questions but I've actually run across hosts who have claimed to support Perl but forgot set up the cgi-bin or messed up other set ups so Perl was on the server but nobody could actually run Perl scripts.)

Also, did you make sure to upload the file in ASCII?

When a Perl script goes to the screen as a print out, that means it isn't being processed by Perl - either the script isn't finding Perl or something is keep Perl from processing the file.

I checked with host. They support Perl and the path is the same as in Setup.pl and the rest, but Setup.pl open as a text.

I downloaded it twice, uploaded it twice, and set the permissions twice.

Check with your host to make sure that Perl is actually installed and exactly what the path is to it. If it's not the same as in the top line of Setup.pl, AdminIndex.pl and YaBB.pl, you're not accessing Perl.

I'm new and I need help. The Setup.pl is not working for me. It open as a script file in the browser.  The server is Perl ready, the folders and file all have the permission according to the Quick-Guide. What else should I do.
Thanks
