The Admin Center News & Announcements Feed is re-written

There are no actions to perform.
Its a complete re-write and works entirely differently, and will need a custom stylesheet.  Dandello had quite a time wrangling this into place, as it needed to run on the hybrid YaBB Next3.0 code we are running here on Yabbforum.com. She has put in a lot of work, and I want to thank her for this. We went through 4 'tries' before we got it debugged.

There will later be an installable mod later to adapt this to YaBB 2.6 forums. This will allow you to 'feed' YaBB content to HTML pages on your websites.

Thanks again YaBB Mom

We have 'fixed up' our "fixed" message for a certain kind of appeal.

Try it in YOUR Admin Center.

Cool

Edited:
And it has already worked! Wink

LOL - I actually have basically the same screen cap for Dandello (but from a different version) It may be coming from one of the broken parts of the old website. Only one person (or maybe two) ever knew how any of that stuff worked.

I haven't tried to dig out the code.

And I see we may need to later fix the URL referred to. AND I think I know where it's getting the info!

Research time

It's in a javascript in the update directory. (And in 2.6.0 the link is editable in the AdminCenter template  Wink )

I really like the updated look of our Admin Center's "What's new at YaBB?" section. Smiley

And to know that YaBB actually has updates to showcase. Fantastic! Cool

Morning, noon, or night, have a great one!
